Thankful Thursday and a giveaway!!

Last week I introduced Thankful Thursdays where I take the time to stop and take note of the blessings in my life. Thankfulness is key to building my capacity by centring my headspace in the here and now and on all that is good in my life. (Check out the giveaway at the end of this post.)

  • Warmer weather means it is strawberry season. We went strawberry picking at the same place as last year and my daughter was so much more into it this year. We went with friends and had a ball getting VERY grubby.

  • The opportunity to meet with the parents of some of my students. Having a parent dissolve into tears thanking you and the other staff for the help you are providing their child is humbling and rewarding. I love working for Alta-1 but it is not without its challenges! Moments like this remind me of why I do this job.

  • Amazing friends encouraging me in so many areas. This will need to have a whole post of its own to properly express what is in my heart!!
What are you thankful for today?

  2. I LOVE Thankful Thursday and planned to resurrect that on my blog after these 31 days. My Twitter and Periscope handle is @Gr8tfulChickRis as I want to be known for being one who is GR8TFUL all the time. I love strawberries and have a sweet memory of strawberry picking with a friend and her 3 little peeps!!!!!
